THE ROLE:

The focus of this role is to create a UVM testbench for the verification of AMD’s graphics processor’s control subsystem, resulting in no bugs in the final design.

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-project team environment using state of the art tools and technology
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to work independently to complete tasks on schedule

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate lead verification engineer to understand the front end control subsystem and the blocks and features that will be verified
  • Create the UVM based subsystem testbench and tests to match real-world use case scenarios
  • Debug test failures to determine the root cause; work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects and correct any test issues

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in IP level ASIC verification
  • Experience in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools
  • Experience in creating and using UVM testbenchs and working in Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++
  • Graphics pipeline knowledge

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
