Job Responsibilities:

  • Real workload based performance verification, analysis and debug for server SoC. 
  • Server SoC Performance architecture design and modeling.
  • Co-Work with archtitecture design team and give feedback and propose on architecture improvement. 
  • Lead real workload based performance verification, evaluation and analysis for new chip.
  • In pre-silicon:
    • Study new architecture, investigate the performance and architecture issue in new graphics chips.
    • Analyze workload in real game and AI application, write performance test for game performance evaluation.
    • Debug function and performance issue in RTL.
    • Evaluate the chip performance of real game in RTL.
    • Analyze the performance issue in architecture and give solution.
    • Design new architecture to improve performance.
  • In Post-silicon:
    • Performance correlation between pre-silicon and post-silicon.
    • Performance tune.

Completion of 2nd year of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science program preferred. MS and PhD candidates w/ or w/o prior industry co-op experience are welcome (all degrees are related to CS or EE). Requires strong understanding of computer architecture and assembly programming. Experience with/understanding of Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL, programming in Perl, C/C++, logic simulation is a plus.
