Sr. Business Manager, OEM Sales

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member, a “right hand” business manager and trusted advisor to the Global VP of OEM Sales, to support rolling out key programs and sales initiatives in support of a fast-growing, multi-billion-dollar semiconductor OEM business. In this hands-on role, you will be integral in driving business results by closely collaborating with global account leaders and key partnering teams to drive meaningful improvements into the organization, plan and execute business processes improvements and help cultivate critical external alliances and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive critical sales programs and initiatives that require cross-functional and cross-account coordination and tracking.
  • Drive harmonious business opportunities with key external partners in the PC ecosystem
  • Build positive relationships with team members across multiple organizations (sales, business unit, finance, HR, etc.) to influence outcomes and maintain project momentum.
  • Support the Global VP of OEM sales in critical planning and pivotal initiatives
  • Build presentations and reports for executive consumption.
  • Manage day-to-day action items, tracking and reporting for the Global OEM sales team to ensure a closed loop of priority work.
  • Review the team’s core business processes, helping to ensure the right levels of operational rigor required to operate seamlessly and drive growth.
  • Coordinate inputs and prepare presentations for business reviews, staff meetings, offsites and other important business meetings in a regular cadence.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience in a combination of project/program management, strategy, or business management roles
  • Recent and detailed experience in the hi-tech industry a plus
  • Proven experience with executive communication and business presentations
  • Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects at a given time with successful results
  • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and in data manipulation, analysis, and presentation

 

Academic Credentials:

Undergraduate degree, PMP or MBA desirable

 

Location:

Austin, Texas ideal, but role can be based anywhere near a major US airport
