Senior Manager, Sales Enablement

THE ROLE:

The Sr. Manager of Sales Enablement will own the sales enablement team and work closely with key cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment. The primary objective is to scope, implement and lead an effective global sales training program across the sales organization while maintaining existing sales enablement initiatives. In addition, this role will deploy programs and initiatives that enable customer-facing teams to execute the core aspects of their jobs more effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement of an effective, end-to-end sales training program
  • Represent the program effectively across all teams through facilitating interactions, discussions and the decisions required to meet program goals and objectives
  • Hire a team responsible for the sourcing and/or creation training content, messaging, process and tools across all business segments and product lines
  • Lead all aspects of day-to-day management of the eLearning platform, content, communications, and engagement
  • Conduct an RFI/RFP for an eLearning platform complete with incentives, gamification, on-demand course delivery, quizzes, and reporting
  • Develop a programmatic approach to deliver consistent sales training information to educate customer-facing teams on skills that can be applied in real world scenarios
  • Define the content strategy across all product lines and business segments to develop a curriculum specific to each business segment
  • Build a training calendar, content roadmap, process, and reporting cadence
  • Use appropriate industry methodologies and frameworks to measure impact and assign value
  • Identify, recommend, and execute ongoing improvements to deliver a best-in-class experience
  • Establish, analyze, track, and communicate metrics to measure success and ensure objectives are being met
  • Run various sales enablement projects and coordinate sales enablement activities

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in establishing data reporting/analytics and proving the value of sales training
  • Relevant Sales Enablement/L&D experience in the high-tech industry directing a team
  • An understanding of the principles, methods, and techniques in adult learning theory, modern sales methodologies, and sales processes
  • Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technologies, processes, and standards (analysis, instructional design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation) with a track record of bringing key findings and insights into effective training programs
  • Previous involvement in the development and delivery of effective sales training programs
  • B2B experience leading the training program of a global sales force
  • Experience working with various Learning Management Systems a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education or related field preferred; MBA a plus
