Senior Manager, Server Program Management

The Person:  
Well qualified candidate will have relevant working experience in new product development from a product engineering, platform engineering, manufacturing and/or supply chain discipline. The candidate should have experience either as a technical lead or as a program manager. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the general ASIC development process from design release to production.  The candidate should be a proven leader, be able to create and maintain a working cross functional team and manage in a matrixed environment.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end Silicon and/or systems development process
  • Knowledge of manufacturing flows and/or supply chain management
  • Knowledge of New Product Introduction processes​​​​​​​
  • Outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers
  • Exceptional verbal, and written communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and drive silicon delivery process within Server Business Unit for Internal and External consumption. 
  • Align supply and demand, and drive manufacturing and third-party vendors to deliver to this demand. 
  • Coordinate with server management on customer deliveries and budget attainment.
  • Report out to AMD executives on status of supply and demand

 

Educational Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
