Sr. Manager Supply Chain Data

THE ROLE:

Data and data analytics are vital to supply chain management, visibility, agility, and resilience. The role of Sr. Supply Chain Data Quality Manager is to ensure the data used in planning operations is of high quality, there is greater accountability and efficiency and trust on the data. As the leader of the newly formed team, the person will help shape the team, system, and processes for governing. The leader will be required to be a Supply Chain authority to help design and architect data governance processes for leading the supply chain. In this role collaboration with individuals across organizations and levels are required to implement sophisticated business processes and solutions. In addition, will lead and influence cross functional teams on global enterprise including engineers, underscoring the importance of quality data, and simplifying the processes. Leader will also demonstrate automation, cognitive and science-based techniques, handle data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions and eventually to become practical insights providers for supply chain management.

The Person:

The ideal person for this role has an exceptional drive, excellent social skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work, shape and lead a cross-functional newly formed team. They also have proven track record to lead multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of supply chain improvement focus. They have a strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop the Supply Chain Data Quality Management Team through leadership, recruiting team members and recruiting cross-functional matrixed responsible parties for managing supply chain data.
  • Be a strategic leader by establishing team direction, schedules, and key objectives with a focus on driving Supply Chain Planning quality excellence and continuous improvements.
  • Develop a proper architecture and system for governing the supply planning data quality and build appropriate alerts/checks for triggering actions.
  • Define and establish measurements. Establish process control and assess conformance to data quality related critical metrics.
  • Work with different groups in ensuring planning BOM and parameters for all NPIs are set, in resolving planning parameter gaps, analyzing actual data on parameters, and highlighting where planning parameter is out of range.
  • Review and analyze Weekly Supply Chain Planning System Plan outputs for consistency and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Solid experience working in the supply chain operations and technology space including Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Data and Analytics
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Data Governance, Data management and Data Quality
  • Experience working with a sophisticated planning solution like Kinaxis, blue yonder, SAP IBP
  • Semi-Conductor Proven Experience
  • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute to a team environment
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Management or other relevant Engineering or Management degree
