Sr. Product Manager

 

The Role:

As Software Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving AMD’s server software strategy, industry thought leadership, and the roadmap of AMD’s software toolchain and ecosystem

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive AMD’s server software strategy, including software toolchain roadmap and ISV enablement
  • Build working relationships with AMD-internal customers, customers and industry partners
  • Collect, synthesize and ultimately prioritize software requirements and investments
  • Develop and articulate the value proposition of AMD’s software products
  • Analyze and understand unique requirements of key applications and workloads to specify and drive alignment with server business priorities

Preferred Experience:

  • Several years of experience in compilers, software development, computer design or validation
  • Working knowledge of modern server platform architecture and software
  • Experience (or interest) in business management of technology products
  • Agility to efficiently adapt and drive strategy across internal teams as customer and business needs change
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of technical, non-technical, and executive audiences
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Business.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Business.
