The Role:

Come join a fast-paced environment at AMD, where you will be part of the dynamic and energetic Embedded Marketing Team at AMD. In this role, you will conduct market research and competitive analysis, develop analysis reports and forecast, and translate these to actionable strategies and tactics for marketing segments.

Key Responsibilities:

Your scope of responsibility includes, but not limited to:

  • Industry trend, TAM, SAM, market share analysis
  • Competitive analysis to understand AMD segment and product strengths and weaknesses
  • Own strategic business plans based on effective market, competitive analysis, and customer intelligence.
  • Define value proposition and build core competency decks
  • Establish foundation and continue scaling up data driven marketing intelligence capability
  • Be the liaison for between segment marketing and corporate strategy team for market insights, analytics, TAM/SAM analysis
  • Drive customer segmentation models and insights
  • Prepare relevant presentation materials as necessary both internal and external consumption
  • Promote AMD presence in industry consortia
  • Support and assist with RFI/RFP/RFQ process
  • Set go-to-market execution plan and work with go-to-market marcom team to set that plan in motion

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of related work experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, business analysis or industry research, management consulting, or strategic marketing focused in a specific focus area
  • Semiconductor experience preferred
  • Experience with automotive or industrial segments is an added benefit
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who is experienced at taking initiative and showing results
  • Team player with a strong sense of customer orientation
  • Advanced powerpoint and excel skills required

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree o equivalent in a related field
