Sr Technical Program Manager, DataCenter

 

The Role:

The Functional Program Manager, DataCenter is a hands-on and dynamic role that encompasses all areas of graphics board solution development for AMD's Data Center business unit.

Influence, support, and responsibility to drive the process at the Architectural level.

 

The Person

The role requires proactive and frequent engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that engineering teams are enabled for successful planning, design, development and validation of board-level graphics solutions.

 

You are required to have demonstrated proven capability leading concurrent programs in a metric-driven environment and must have the capability to deliver;

  • Unification of cross-business unit product requirements into a cohesive and achievable engineering delivery plan
  • Management and alignment of design deliverables into corporate phase gate review process
  • Coordination of 3rd parties & contract manufacturers to align material supply and prototype deliveries in line with committed schedules

 

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the graphics market or related Semiconductor industries
  • Proven experience in rapid product prototyping and high mix, fast turn, product development from design to mass production
  • Experience in interacting with and directing international teams in a technology environment
  • Ability to execute complex analysis, and communicate summary findings/recommendations to senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel in both North America and Asia (up to 10%) once we are available to travel again.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • BS or MS in any Engineering Degree
  • Additional education, certification  (PMP) or specialized learning related to the above business segments would be advantageous
