Staff Business Systems Analyst


The System Analyst acts as the bridge between business users and data engineer. The System Analyst will support reporting and analytics initiatives for Global Operations, ensuring alignment with core goals and strategic priorities of the company.

The Person:

The System Analyst will interact directly with key stakeholders to define and manage business needs and requirements. The System Analyst will partner with the data warehouse team to define and design data assets for multiple programs and projects. These projects will have an enterprise-wide impact, enabling both our engineering and business communities with analytics and performance metrics.



  • Elicits business requirements using workshops, interviews, and other requirements gathering techniques.
  • Documents reporting and analytics requirements, covering required information for formats, user access, report usage.
  • Build data products that enable stakeholders to do their jobs effectively and answer their own questions.
  • Analyze and organize raw data to build data systems, prototypes, and pipelines.
  • Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats.
  • Work with multi-functional stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Experience with SQL and databases, including SQL Server and Snowflake. Working SQL knowledge, ability to write SQL, which is easy to understand, simple to troubleshoot and that is highly performant.
  • Experience with data warehousing and analytics solutions, such as Tabular cube, PowerBI, Azure DevOps, ETL tooling



  • Strong analytic skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organization, planning, time, and project management skills.
  • Understand and prioritize opportunities and requirement to drive maximum ROI.
  • Willing and able to challenge business requests based on understanding of business value and priorities
  • Independent critical thinking skills.
  • Able to demonstrate expertise in a variety of Global Operations concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication, risk management and leadership skills



Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science; or equivalent experience
