<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Systems Program Manager role leading the platform and customer engineering core team managing and driving the planning execution activities for platform and customers engineering development of AMD Semi-Custom platform solutions.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We’re looking for a refined leader of Semi-Custom program development from concept to product delivery while being responsible for and leading the program core team comprised of the design, technology, supply chain, platform, product, software, ecosystem, quality, and business functions. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Key Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Semi-Custom System Engineering Program Manager owns planning and driving the execution of platform-solution engineering functions to enable best in class customer solutions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Drives AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Engage with technical leadership team to understand and document program scope, establish integrated schedules, assess, and manage program progress and risk, and create resource and budget plans.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Represents the Semi-Custom Systems Engineering organization in corporate and executive planning and execution forums.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must be well-organized, technically-oriented, and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate the activities of geographically distributed technical teams.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Required Skills:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Product development with hardware platforms and related software ecosystem. Specific experience in x86 solutions preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to influence horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent analytical, project planning, and management skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proven ability to deliver large cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Quickly adapt to dynamic business and technical requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Business savvy; ability to think strategically and make intelligent technical vs business trade-off recommendations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Skilled in interfacing with customers, partners and in managing joint-development projects. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Energized by working in a fast-paced matrixed technical organization and multi-site environment

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Academic Credentials:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering a must, with an MBA and PMP preferred
