Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist (1 year contract)

 

The Role:

Due to unprecedented growth, we are seeking Talent Acquisition Operations Specialists to join a larger team supporting TA Managers and Recruiters.  You will be responsible for end-to-end administrative and operational functions and will handle special projects as needed.  You are proactive, a quick learner, a team player and are comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.  You are highly organized, detail oriented and have a commitment continuous process improvement.  You possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.  You also have strong MS office skills and easily adapt to a variety of computers systems/programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with team members to provide a “Wow” experience to key stakeholders (i.e. candidates, managers and other members)
  • Handle confidential information in a discrete way
  • Check new requisitions for accuracy and assign to appropriate Talent Acquisition team member; facilitate candidate travel and prepare offer packages
  • Manage all processes from “Offer Accepted” through to candidate “Hire”, including background investigations, export control licenses and immigration; process employee referral submissions
  • Aide recruiters in candidate communication; create and distribute employment-related correspondence; e.g. forms, offer letters, and orientation materials
  • Respond to employment and TA program enquiries
  • Maintain central database of process documentation and training
  • Provide periodic updates/training to team members

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working as part of a cohesive, high-performing team
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures and grasp new concepts
  • Demonstrated MS Office and email skills
  • Experience working in a customer relations role
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience working in technoloy industry a plus
  • Experience supporting HR/Recruiting Teams is preferred

Post secondary degree or diploma
