Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist

 

The Role:

At AMD our world class Talent Acquisition team is focused on identifying and hiring the best available talent in the career marketplace to fuel our hyper-growth.  To support this continued growth, we are seeking an additional Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist who is self-guided, highly motivated and is excited about working in a fast-paced technology environment. This position will be responsible for end-to-end administration, supporting the Talent Acquisition Managers, recruiters, and other participants in the hiring process.  

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, process focused, and highly organized.  She / he will exercise professional judgement and operate at pace while providing exceptional customer service to all participants in the hiring process.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • TA Coordinator duties: Background Investigations submissions/checks, managing offer letter signing folder in DocuSign, submitting candidate info to Global Trade for Export Control check, assist with candidate travel, etc.
  • Proactively respond to questions from candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and employees on TA Process
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all AMD participants in the hiring process as well as creating an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Manage New Requisition process: check for accuracy, route for approvals
  • Aide recruiters in candidate communications: create and distribute employment-related correspondence, e.g., forms, offer letters, and orientation materials
  • Various TA related general admin / coordinator duties with occasional special projects
  • Manage confidential information

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting HR/Recruiting Teams is preferred
  • Systems experience working in an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, CRM or other system of record
  • Ability to interact with a broad range of range of stakeholders to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures and grasp new concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while remaining adaptable and flexible
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a desire to contribute
  • Demonstrated professional judgement; determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps, and operating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve the desired results
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
