Work across AMD’s Semi-Custom Business Unit organization and other AMD organizations to plan and guide Validation program management for AMD’s semi-custom products. Work directly with customers to resolve validation schedule and resource issues when required.  This role is critical to ensure program schedule, resource, and budget directives are attained.


• Generate validation program schedule lifecycle

• Create and maintain the headcount and hardware budget• Collect and assemble validation status from pre-silicon development to post-silicon execution inclusive of critical path analysis and identification of timeline and/or resource issues

• Identify validation dependencies and tracking related deliveries

• Produce status reports per standard validation and program templates

• Lead weekly validation execution management operations meeting

• Perform test plan legal scrubs and test plan reviews with the customer

• Lead validation customer sync meetings and face-to-face meetings

• Host and assemble weekly Platform Core Team Meeting (PCT) to review validation program status and issues

• Track the delivery of validation customer deliverables

• Plan and manage silicon bring-up related logistics planning (Ex. Travel, equipment needs, etc.)

• Drive process improvement initiatives and related metrics

• Understand fundamental program budget analysis concepts

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to details.

• Understand basic validation flows, concepts, and procedures

• Effective communication skills

• Team player with proven leadership skills

• Highly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines

• Ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within • the organization

• Familiar with MS Office & MS Project tool suites.

• University degree or Technical College Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Project Management diploma or equivalent work experience
