Strategic Account Manager” 

 

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly motivated leader and team player to join the Regional South Team to design, launch and support a plan to accelerate and scale the growth of our business with some “Key Strategic Accounts” in South. This role will report to the Regional Head, South.

 

THE PERSON:

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will need to have the ability to establish broad senior level relationships and possess a proven track record on delivering results and getting things done. You are smart, have strong business acumen, with the ability to make a notable impact within your first 90 days at AMD. You are able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Customers and OEM’s.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executive alignment & engagement across the Customer organization
  • Global/Regional business plan creation & execution with 360° view of relationship
  • Drive co-sell sales engagement on strategic accounts/opportunities across regions in collaboration with regional teams

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Broad-based business and technology expertise with 10+ years of consulting, management or business leadership experience with a track record of driving business development
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a portfolio of assignments while driving complex strategic projects to completion
  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication, alignment, and relationship building skills with Senior Leadership and C-Level
  • Experience leading teams, serving as a mentor and coach to employees
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion
  • Strong customer service orientation and a desire to help others succeed
  • Proven track record of driving cross functional business process and system improvements, including successful change management
  • Ability to break down complex ideas/issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • MBA preferred
