Within the Client Computing Group, we are bringing disruptive technology to the personal computing ecosystem. As an Senior BDE, your primary mission will be to support Company’s Component Sales by managing the product platform lifecycle (market analysis, LOEM NB/DT design in, supervising platform development stages, Sell-Thru and sell out), assisting in quarterly business reporting, and driving customer interactions/support to grow AMD share.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with System Integrators [SIs] to drive overall AMD Component Sales
  • Target, Map & Manage Prosumer demand
  • Work closely with ISVs, conduct POCs, design WINs & Certifications
  • Build C Level relationships across SI/LOEMs
  • Drive AOP closures Quarterly aligning to Yearly goals.
  • Establish Marketing Goals with SI/LOEM Partners
  • Develop innovative sales opportunities basis the product portfolio
  • 4 P Cycle Planning with SI/LOEM Partners
  • Managing changes and issues with the stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Leverage appropriate internal/external organizations to resolve issues
  • Documentation of business plans, including volume, mix, revenue, margin, and market share
  • Market research and interaction with the customer to understand market trends
  • Contingency and/or alternatives planning for possible market shifts



    Preferred Experience
     
  • Pre-existing understanding of the PC market, with an emphasis on DIY Component Sales
  • Relevant Sales/Marketing experience into SI/OEM/Channel
  • Strong Retail Consumer Sales understanding
  • Exceptional time-management skills - ability to handle multiple ongoing projects/initiatives
  • Ability to quickly create effective strategies with imperfect or insufficient datasets
  • Strong organizational skills - Ability to work across a large organization and get things done
  • Executive-level presentation and communication skills - ability to speak with confidence
  • Ability to work under intense pressure 
     
    Education
     
  • 10+ years in a fast-paced business planning or strategy role - high tech experience preferred
  • BS and/or MS degree in Business Management, Finance, or Engineering from a top-tier university
  • MBA is a strong plus.
