The AMD Radeon Technology Group (RTG) develops GPU ASIC design that enhances our daily lives as we are entering an age of immersive computing.  The RTG hardware engineering teams are distributed across Canada, US, China and India.  The team in India is engaging on the enthusiast and high-performance GPUs.   As part of the RTG DFT team, your team will be responsible for developing the DFT architecture and finalizing the various test schematics to test the new technology product completely to avoid any kind of test escapes. Your responsibilities start from RTL check to till the silicon bring-up.  As always, the team is dedicated to come up with innovative solution to overcome new challenges related to specific project requirements and time-to-market.




•Will interface with SOC team and IP teams across all our sites to coordinate integration plan and resolve inter-dependencies.

• Should work on the scope to improve the DFX Architecture and new test schematics for the new technology

• Working with the Design team to clean-up all the DFT related constraint issues and test coverage issues 

• Handshake with the Synthesis team to complete the SCAN activities

• Work with the DV team to establish the required DFX environment and setup.

• Interaction with the PEO team to understand the test requirement and plan for smooth silicon bringup 

• Reviewing the new EDA tools and options to improve the ATPG and simulation performance 



• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• 8+ years’ of experience in ASIC DFT

• Good understanding of Digital Design 

• Strong in debugging and analyzing the problems in software and as well as in silicon environment

• Good experience/concept on all aspects of DFT i.e. SCAN/ATPG, MBIST, Boundary 

• Expertise on SCAN Insertion, DRC Analysis and Knowledge of EDT Scan Compression 

• Expertise on MBIST Insertion and Validation 

• Able to handle all the Test related RTL Integration

• Good analytical skills and ability to debug complex SCAN DRCs , ATPG Coverage issues and GLS Timing Simulation 

• Exposure and Hands-on in SoC level DFT verification  

• Understanding of Tester requirements and Post silicon debug

• Must communicate well both written and orally

• Able to organize and do multitasking
