Program Manager - Silicon Design Engineering - CPU Cores

 

 

Role details.

The PM will be playing a key role to manage the execution of the program from the concept to silicon bring-up support. It involves interactions with stake holders spread across the globe, spanning from the IP teams, architects, Methodology teams, SoC functions. Involves high number of interactions, strong understanding of multi-functional groups within SoC and IPs, methodologies is a must.  Involves lot of proactive decision making to drive the program goals. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and a team lead and player.

 

Experience: 12+ years.

 

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  1. Managing CPU Cores design projects from specification to tape out. 
  2. Should have handled Tape Outs for multiple IP/SoC preferable in latest technology nodes.
  3. Familiarity with complete ASIC flow (RTL, PD, Verification, Circuit design) is a must.
  4. Mange tight integration with cross IP local and global teams to deliver complex CPU Cores
  5. Help engineering teams communicate project status to internal stake holders across the company.
  6. Work closely with partners on product development schedules, dependencies, and budgets.
  7. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  8. Interface between partners and engineering teams, setting, and managing schedules and milestones of IP/SoC. Making sure all stakeholders (e.g., IP teams) are aligned, and tracking the schedule /deliverable quality metrics.
  9. Monitoring the key project KPIs, conducting milestone reviews, generating weekly reports, conducting weekly reviews, IP reviews, global sync meetings, raising monitoring risks, tracking issues to closure.
  10. Hands on experience with process/planning/tracking tools e.g. JIRA, Excel, Planning SW etc.

 

Ideal candidate should have worked as PM of SOC design and development for few programs or handled multiple projects as PM in one or more SoC functions like RTL/DV/PD/DFT . Very good in communication, assertive to carry forward the decisions and program goals.
