Software System Designer 2

 

THE ROLE:

AMD is searching for a dynamic, self-motivated candidate to join our Software Quality Assurance team to take our continuous integration testing to the next level. Software System Designer 2 Engineer will perform validation of design requirements of AMD products. The engineer will collaborate with architecture, design and validation engineers to define meaningful properties in Security, ethical hacking, cyber security,

 

 

THE PERSON:

 

  • A person in this role would be able to work in a collaborative team environment working with architecture, design and validation engineers to find creative ways to accelerate the identification of functional defects
  • Strong self-driving ability, should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong problem-solving skills

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably with engineering background
  • 4+ years of experience in Security Vulnerability Assessment and testing on networking and client-server/web applications on Windows and Linux
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and security is essential
  • Good understanding of Security vulnerabilities
  • Working knowledge of Vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys, Burpsuite, Kali and Metasploit required
  • Working knowledge of network tools like Wireshark, NMAP etc. required
  • Experience in Test Automation is essential, and Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python) is required
  • High attention to details with good documentation skills
  • Familiarity with active directory and Windows Security frameworks
  • Good knowledge in DASH (Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware) and network management console

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
