Silicon Design Engineer-2

 

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will get to work on the Verification of complex Analog Mixed Signal IPs (with significant Digital and Analog content) that are delivered to various AMD SoCs.

 

THE PERSON:

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create methodology-based (UVM) verification testbenches and components from scratch.
  • End to end IP verification ownership involving Feature Test plan creation, Verification in RTL, Gatesim and Analog Mixed Signal simulations.  
  • Quality deliverables through regressions and Verification coverage (Code and Functional).
  • Reviews, and feedback to design/architecture teams.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong digital design knowledge, SoC design flow,
  • Excellent Problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills and able to work with global teams
  • Expertise in System Verilog, methodology based testbench architectures such as UVM, and System Verilog assertions, for RTL verification.
  • Expertise in code and functional coverage,
  • Exposure to RTL low power verification
  • Knowledge on AMS designs (SERDES or Memory PHYs such as DDR) and Mixed signal verification methodology is an added advantage.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in ECE/EEE desired
