THE ROLE:

  • T1 OEM account manager to drive AMD EPYC server product sales growth

 

THE PERSON:

  • Target oriented, always strive to meet sales target and proof record of success
  • Good customer relationship, able to cover OEM from R&D to Business Unit, and from Procurement to all the sales functions
  • Detail and data sensitive, always on top of all the key initiatives with the OEM customer
  • Good plan and presentation skills to get resources needed internally from AMD Headquarter
  • High integrity and teamwork focused
  • Good spoken and writing English

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build the senior level relationship between AMD and OEM management
  • Understand responsive OEM customer business plan, as well as their pain-points, then introduce AMD technology advantage to help OEM customer to win in the market
  • Drive business growth by winning design-wins to key segments
  • Coordinate and drive OEM R&D to develop EPYC based platforms
  • Work with FAE team to introduce AMD new product roadmap to target OEM sales teams and providing training on AMD EPYC solutions
  • Design and drive promotion programs to incentivize OEM ramp up EPYC sales
  • Maintain accurate forecast, sales-in, sales-out records and provide in depth sales analysis
  • Funding, pricing management to win share from OEM
  • Work closely with OEM each sales team to exert all the opportunities to be convert to EPYC pipelines, then sales

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 8 years work experience in X86 server segment
  • Work experience in top OEM server segment will be a plus
  • Product management experience, understand OEM internal design-in process
  • Have knowledge about server hardware and software environment, including Linux and performance tuning basic will be a plus
  • Understand key server vertical markets and top server solutions is a must
  • Understand how the OEM sales process and promotional programs work

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Majored in STEM, BS and above
  • MBA will be a plus
