The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive our China strategy and demand for AMD-based Lenovo products. The primary focus is to win market share and grow sales for AMD EPYC and Radeon Instinct product lines across all market segments.

  • Define and execute the China sales-out strategy with Lenovo
  • Grow enterprise CPU & DataCenter graphics sales & market share
  • Be part of a global AMD enterprise sales-out team and work with a network of sales-out specialists, FAEs and generalists to drive the customer’s direct sales bid participation and distribution/partner sales opportunities
  • Formulate strategy to improve relationships with Lenovo executives, pre-sales and product marketing organizations on business growth opportunities
  • Expand business relationships with key partners (OEM, ODM & business partners)
  • Build relationships with key decision makers, able to influence decision making to support our strategies and business goals, and to achieve outcomes where everybody wins
  • Drive channel programs and train/motivate Lenovo Channel partners to achieve defined growth targets and goals
  • Coordinate and support events and training and collaborate with AMD marketing & event teams to improve AMD presence & brand awareness and amplify the partnership
  • Funnel new market opportunities to the AMD design-in and business unit teams and drive partnership for product roadmap alignment
  • Coordinate and close sales pipeline opportunities between Lenovo’s Corporate, Hyperscale & Global Account teams and AMD BDEs in China
  • Achieve agreed sales quota and critical metrics
  • Establish a quarterly business review cadence
  • Provide detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual base and executive level reporting on overall program and market impact.


Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years in server or system sales, preferably with a background in semiconductors, in the enterprise, CSP, or commercial segment
  • Crafting contracts, establishing relationships and building partner networks in the industry
  • A proven track record of success in server sales in the China region


Academic Credentials:

University or advanced degree in Business or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
