MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Understand competitive products and gaps in offering at DIY marketplace; create and conceptualize product messages and marketing means that would be competitively advantaged.
  2. Define product GTM strategy, by defining product positioning, 4P Plan development.  Closely align with the company’s sales strategy
  3. Market and customer insight expert. Possessed in-depth understanding of AMD, AMD products, its competitors and customers, as well as ecosystem partners.  Ability to translate those insights into effective marketing tactics.
  4. Product and marketing message development.
  5. Product training content development, as well as taking up the role as a trainer externally to AMD’s customers as well partners.
  6. Identify opportunities by performing analytics and researches from data. Maintain close communication with IDC/ GFK and other MI companies.   Internal communication of the market finding within AMD GC Org.

 

 

 

 

 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, technology and engineering related filed is preferred.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in technology or DIY related businesses
  • In-depth PC hardware and software knowledge, as well as the DIY marketplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to perform data analytical skills and leverage the data to construct executable market strategy
  • Experiences in running GTM projects and is capable of running projects independently, as well as perform as a good team player.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
  • Good presentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (MBA, M.S. or Ph.D.) in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Engineering related major
  • 8+ years of industry experience is preferred.
