Director of Sales, GAM Sell-Out (72323)

 

The Microsoft Global Account position, will focus on driving revenue, strategic engagement, and corporate alignment for all aspects of Microsoft Azure. He/she will be responsible for establishing the AMD sales strategy, managing procurement and alliance relationships, and driving to key revenue, marketshare and gross margin goals. 

Specific Responsibilities:
• Define and implement sales-in strategies that grow revenue base and market share for the business
• Engage Azure and AMD teams to drive collaboration across all lines of business

  • Focus to win AMD CPU and GPU footprint into Microsoft Cloud
  • Work with  regions and Azure Sales and Marketing Teams to drive Go to market alignment
  • Work with AMD Business unit teams to drive product strategy and development with account
  • Align and determine WW marketing spend alignment to drive optimal ROI

• Focus on executive relationships to drive preferred vendor status
• Ensure close collaboration with cross-matrix teams to value propositions are consistent and aligned

The Person:
The Sales Global Account Manager will ideally have the following experience:
• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable roles, building and leading a global team in geographically dispersed locations including international sites
• Technical Experience: an established background in Server and Datacenter, Graphics and/or CPU sales with at least 10 years’ progressive experience selling into the Enterprise Server market
• Customer/Cloud/OEM Experience: strong historical interaction and relationships with key customers and/or cloud accounts
• Organizational Experience: demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix organization

• Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability for strategic planning and strategic vision

Education :  Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
