Sales Director, Amazon Global Account Manager, Sell-In


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to focus on driving revenue, strategic engagement, and alignment for all aspects of the AWS account. To establish the AMD sales-in strategy, managing procurement and alliance relationships, and driving to key revenue, market share and gross margin objectives

  • Proven direct sales experience and significant time in a position of leadership with a focus in infrastructure and software technology solutions


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement sales-in strategies that grow revenue base and market share for the business
  • Engage AWS and AMD teams to encourage teamwork across all lines of business
  • Focus to win AMD CPU and GPU footprint into AWS and Amazon Consumer
  • Work with AMD Business unit teams to drive product strategy and development with account
  • Align and lead WW marketing spend to drive efficient return on investment
  • Focus on executive relationships to drive preferred vendor status
  • Ensure close collaboration with cross-matrix teams to value propositions are consistent and aligned


Preferred Experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, building and leading a distributed team in geographically dispersed locations including international sites
  • Technical Experience: an established background in Server and Datacenter, Graphics and/or CPU sales with demonstrated progressive success selling into the Enterprise Server market
  • Customer/Cloud/OEM Experience: strong historical interaction and relationships with key customers and/or cloud accounts
  • Organizational Experience: demonstrated efficiency working in a cross-matrix organization


Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, MBA preferred
