Sales Director, Amazon Global Account Manager, Sell-Out

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to focus on driving revenue, strategic engagement, and alignment for all aspects of the AWS account. To establish the AMD sales-out strategy, managing procurement and alliance relationships, and driving to key revenue, market share and gross margin objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the holistic view of the AWS & AMD Partner Ecosystem across the North America Commercial Area business.
  • Act as customer advocate by working with AWS & AMD field sales organizations to help answer the question, “Why AMD in AWS?”
  • Expand consumption of AMD based EC2 instances with existing and net new AMD commercial accounts
  • Collaborate with AWS & AMD field sales, technical sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AMD instances within the AWS platform EC2.
  • Operate the business through effective pipeline and opportunity management partnership with AMD NA Commercial Sales to drive growth of AMD solutions in AWS
  • Define and drive AMD on AWS ISV/MSP sales strategy working with key ISV partners and AMD product business units.
  • Lead team of seasoned cloud sales executives with worldwide regional support responsibility with resources located in North America, EMEA, India and Singapore.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, building and leading a distributed team in geographically dispersed locations including international sites
  • Technical Experience: an established background in Server and Datacenter, Graphics and/or CPU sales with demonstrated progressive success selling into the Enterprise Server market
  • Customer/Cloud/OEM Experience: strong historical interaction and relationships with key customers and/or cloud accounts
  • Organizational Experience: demonstrated efficiency working in a cross-matrix organization

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, MBA preferred
