We are hiring an engineering leader at our Boxborough, MA location.  As the Manager, Software Engineering – GPU Shader Compiler team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of developers in designing, implementing, and testing the compiler on a range of GPU ASICs. As the successful candidate, you will have an established background in managing a software engineering team, preferably working on compilers and/or 3D graphics in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage an engineering team including mentoring, goal setting and conducting annual performance reviews
  • Work closely with your team to develop enhancements to the compiler software features, tracking and fixing bugs, and testing drivers to be aligned with key deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Understand and present technical status updates to upper managers, peers, and engineer teams
  • Have technical insight to guide priorities and translate the asks into right actions

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience as a software developer, including experience as a manager in compilers or 3D graphics or CPU/GPU development
  • Undergraduate degree in technical discipline
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of project delivery
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
