Silicon Design Engineer

The Role:

The person in this role will contribute to the development for multidimensional designs involving the layout of sophisticated and coordinated circuits. They will also evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development
  • Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
  • Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation


Preferred Experience:

  • Familiar with Verilog HDL coding and ASIC Front-End implementation flow
  • Computer architecture and computer arithmetic
  • Computer graphics basic knowledge
  • Familiar with Unix/Linux and scripts (TCL, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and good coding skills


Academic Credentials:

  • Minimum BSEE/CE with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in ASIC product development, MSEE/CE, or equivalent degree.
