The Job opening is for a proficient Hardware Design Engineer to join a Team which is responsible for highly-complex PCIE Form factor Network Cards using FPGA’s. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Complete ownership of complex design
  2. Responsible for circuit design, prototype testing, layout review, SI/PI review
  3. Interface with cross functional teams like Layout, SI/PU, Mechanical/Thermal and firmware.
  4. Write/Contribute to the DVT Test plan and participate in test, measurement and validation of hardware
  5. Participate in board bring-up and testing

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  1. Excellent knowledge of board design concepts (Cadence Orcad/Allegro - Schematics/Layout)
  2. Very good knowledge on all design analysis (Noise Margin, Power Analysis, Basic SI/PI/EMI/EMC/ESD Concepts)
  3. Good knowledge and Implementation experience of PCIe, DDR, USB, ETH, I2C, SPI specification/design requirements and validation.
  4. Good understanding of design concepts in terms of circuit design/Power supply Design/layout/testing/validation.
  5. Good understanding of design concepts in terms of various memory technologies such as SPI FLASH, eMMC and DDR4/LPDDR Design/layout/testing validation.
  6. Good understanding of Design concepts in terms of various clocking schemes/standards
  7. Layout review and co-ordination with cross functional teams
  8. Hands-on with Lab tools like Oscilloscope, Multimeters, Analyzers.
  9. Interaction with cross functional teams (Firmware/Layout/Mechanical/Thermal)
  10. Knowledge on FPGA concepts and implementation using Vivado using Verilog/VHDL.

 

 

Education requirements:

 

First class Masters or Bachelors in Electronics or related field with 5-10 years of experience.
