RESPONSIBILITIES

The position of Financial Analyst – Revenue Accounting has the following primary roles/responsibilities:

Provide a support role for the OEM Revenue team on the following:

 

•Support OEM Revenue reconciliation process

•Support AMD revenue consolidation activities and reporting including accurate accounting and reporting of AMD OEM revenue close
•Support Sales/Revenue certification processes

•Support OEM pricing/rebate approval process

•Proactively drive for accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP

•Proactively drive for continuous revenue finance process improvement and communications

•Help drive alignment with Sales Finance, Marketing Finance, Regional Finance, Pricing & Shared Services Operations on revenue processes and reporting

•Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, projects on requests



Qualifications:
 

•University degree in Accounting or Finance related field
•CPA or CPA candidate preferred
•1+years experience in Accounting or Finance preferred from the semiconductor industry

•Self-starter with a positive attitude

•Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively

•Strong communication skills, good team player, result-driven, self-motivated

•Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen
•Demonstrated computer proficiency. Strong spreadsheet skills (MS Office applications) required. Must be able to quickly and accurately manipulate large amounts of data.
•Understanding of financial statements and external reporting requirements

•SAP knowledge is a plus

•SOX knowledge is a plus
