Financial Accountant 1

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the daily accounting functions, including processing invoices / receipts, preparation of payment.
• Assist in liaising with internal and external stakeholders on all payment issue / PO issue / invoice issues.
• Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly report and presentation deck for management
• Perform Month End Close activities, and monthly accruals during AMD month end/ year end
• Update designated tracker & ensure completeness of the incoming request & enquiry per Service Level Agreement
• Support daily expense report functions including validating, processing employees’ claims in compliance with company policies, attending emails, preparation of claim reimbursement, posting accounting entries in SAP system and record retention
• Resolve issues on expense report or reimbursement to employees
• Assist in liaising with internal and external customers on expense reports related tasks via emails or calls
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Accounting/Finance related working experience is preferred (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Good written and spoken English
• Assertive, creative and ready to work in a changing environment
• Team player and able to work with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines
• Assertive, creative, good interpersonal skills, highly driven and self-motivated for a fast-paced evolving environment
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Microsoft office)
• Strong analytical skills and familiar with reporting and data analysis

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or any equivalent accounting processional qualification
