Director, Global Account Design Wins (Sell-In)


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to join the OEM Global Account organization - a proven Sell-In/Sales-In leader to spearhead commercial design wins and engagements for one of our Tier 1 OEMs. The role will be responsible for defining, socializing, and executing the AMD strategy to grow sales and expand addressable TAM via incremental product designs and assortment. The ability to understand & articulate where technology, innovation and market opportunity intersect to build unique customer experiences is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement sales strategies that grow the revenue base and market share for the AMD business within the OEM account
  • Identify customer challenges and translate into a compelling value proposition, ideally from chip-level technology into system level solutions
  • Work with the OEM product management and engineering teams to drive AMD design-wins and solutions
  • Develop relationships across the AMD & OEM sales teams to build a harmonious approach to broadening AMD's portfolio within the OEM account


Preferred Experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in developing and successfully executing design-in and sales plans
  • Strategic Experience: Understanding of CPU and GPU products, Strong historical relationships and success influencing large MNC organizations
  • Technical Sales Experience: an established background in technical sales and/or marketing with progressive experience selling within and across an organization
  • Customer Experience: strong historical interaction and relationship building within major global accounts


Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, MBA preferred
