Director of Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics



AMD is seeking an executive to lead our Supply Chain, Operations and Logistics organization in the APAC region. We are looking for someone with strong leadership capabilities that thrives in a fast paced, results oriented environment.  This individual will work cross-functionally within the group to oversee the organization effectiveness and budget development for the region.




  • Manage overall operational capabilities of the APAC region
  • Translate the company's strategic views into defined operational plans
  • Develop and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to customer and company quality standards

Supply Chain

  • Oversee the planning, ordering, supply, delivery and shipment of materials and finished goods.       
  • Volume and demand planning, master scheduling, buyer analyses, order management, production scheduling, marketing logistics, customer fulfillment and inventory management.       
  • Manage international distribution, logistics and customer liaison for shipment of completed product to end customers


  • Organize and handling a variety of logistics issues within the company
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels, which includes all associated activities to control the commercial impact of spares activity


  • Bachelor in any field (MBA preferred)
  • 10 years of relevant experience in managing critical operational and manufacturing activities, with at least 4 years in a regional management role
  • Familiar with Kaizen process in continuous improvement
  • Fluency (spoken and written) in English and Chinese
  • ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) experience
