KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operation

  • Taking lead responsibility in overseeing overall operational capabilities of the APAC region
  • Translating the company's strategic views into defined operational plans
  • Developing and establishing procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards

Supply Chain

  • Overseeing activities associated with the planning, ordering, supply, delivery and shipment of materials and finished goods.       
  • Administering volume and demand planning, master scheduling, buyer analyses, order management, production scheduling, marketing logistics, customer fulfillment and inventory management.       
  • Managing international distribution, logistics and customer liaison for shipment of completed product to end customers.

Logistics

  • Organizing and handling a variety of logistics issues within the company.
  • Performing the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching to the complex operations of sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels and controlling the commercial impact of the spares activity.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in managing critical operational and manufacturing activities, with at least 4 years in a regional management role
  • Fluency (spoken and written) in English and Chinese is necessary
  • ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) experience is essential
  • Familiar with Kaizen process in continuous improvement
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness, operations management, budget development and oversight
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision and drive results while developing a strong team
  • A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within the Group to drive business growth
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, results-oriented environment under minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English (professional level Chinese communication would be an added advantage)

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in any field (MBA preferred)
