Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Administer Total Rewards (TR) programs that align with Business strategies and ensure the Company can attract and retain the best talent in the market at all levels. Investigate total rewards related issues and propose solutions.
  • Overall accountability for India’s TR portfolio including compensation structures and strategies as well as employee wellness and benefits programs. Be a subject matter expert in this space whom the business can turn to for guidance. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the overall employee experience.
  • Administer the India benefits and wellness plans for 5000+ employees distributed across locations (majorly concentrated in Bangalore and Hyderabad)
  • Partner with the Global Total Rewards Team and other HR and Communications stakeholders to deliver Global benefits from enrollment to negotiations as well as employee communications.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness the company’s benefit programs, practices and procedures, including but not limited to health benefits, Retirement Plans, leave, and Flexible Benefit plan, in relation to the strategic objectives and in terms of perceived benefit to employees, cost, legislative requirements and organizational culture.
  • Responsible for compensation reviews, market benchmarking and ensure its consistent application within the organization.
  • Support alignment of TR strategy with the overall India growth charter.
  • Perform effective due diligence in the company’s Merger and Integration efforts and smooth transition of processes.
  • Institutionalize Merger and Integration efforts with suitable policy amendments and communication.
  • Provide TR subject matter expertise to various Integration transactions and projects and will be accountable for the success, effectiveness, and on-time delivery of assigned TR work stream activities. Serves as the primary India TR Integration point of contact for Global TR Leaders.


Skills required:

  • 8+ years of specialization in compensation and benefits in a large MNC with a matrix structure.
  • Experience of full project life cycle of a large MNC Merger and/or Acquisition, from concept through implementation.
  • Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied with cultural sensitivity. Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates mastery of using market data resources and network for reports, methodologies, and findings to support TR projects and proposals, e.g. Mercer, Hewitt, WTW, or local market data supplier.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and competing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate, whilst provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Ability to build relationships while working remotely
