Senior Channel Account Manager –CDW- 68846


The job owner of this position is responsible for building AMD’s business across our complete commercial portfolio in direct partnership with CDW.  In this partner facing role, the seasoned leader must successfully manage a variety of CDW and strategic OEM partner relationships with the strong ability to influence senior level management


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain direct relationships with select colleagues at all levels of the CDW organization from Account Management up to executive leadership
  • Evangelize AMD products and technologies
  • Deliver AMD unit and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic OEM partners to align GTM programs and goals
  • Acquire and analyze sales reporting to recognize trends and steer financial and human resources to maximize growth and ROI
  • Develop, grow and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities in partnership with strategic OEM colleagues
  • Work in partnership with AMD, CDW and OEM partner colleagues to develop quarterly marketing plans aligned to sales targets
  • Provide internal feedback to help create the proper marketing collateral and sales tools necessary to educate the channel on the benefits of partnering with and selling AMD-based products and solutions



  • 8+ years demonstrated success in comparable roles, developing strong customer relationships which have led to sales success
  • Strong historical interaction and relationships with IT product distributors, VARs, and OEMs (eg Dell, HP, Lenovo)
  • An established background in technology business development/sales with at least 8+ years of progressive experience
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Be comfortable presenting to different audiences; customers and business executives
