We have an exciting job opportunity for a Distributed Systems Engineer in our AMD

Pensando Engineering team. You will be working on a scalable distributed system that leverages an intent-based model to deliver network and security policy to Pensando Distributed Services Cards and Distributed Services Switches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop a massively scalable distributed system
• Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements
• Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
• Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues

Requirements

• Strong SW design and programming skills (Go, C++, C preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Experience with defining JSON, YAML REST APIs
• Experience with modern orchestration systems like Docker, Kubernetes preferred
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Cassandra, neo4j, Kafka, InfluxDB, Prometheus preferred
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
