SMTS Silicon Design Verification Engineer – 72564


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design verification of IP and IP-subsystem designs such as:
    • Embedded CPU and Secure boot
    • AMBA/AXI busses and Network-on-Chip sub-systems
    • Clock, Reset, Fuse/OTP
    • DMA, Compression, Cryptography
  • Work with the IP and SOC teams to specify, develop and verify RTL, DV and supporting infrastructures for SOC Network-on-Chip Security.
  • Design and implement test benches in Verilog, SystemVerilog, C/C++ as required.
  • Perform simulation, verification and debug test failures at IP and SOC levels. 
  • Create detailed specifications and test plans for IP and IP-subsystems.
  • Examine and recommend block improvement, optimization and power saving enhancement.
  • Support silicon bring-up and diagnostics for CLK and Network-on-Chip Security features.
  • Lead development of verification test plans and execution of test strategy
  • Lead development and improvement of test strategies, coverage and quality, models and testbenches
  • Identifying and prioritizing project tasks and risks
  • Working with cross-functional teams - SOC, infrastructure, architecture
  • Mentoring junior team members, hands on involvement in resolving technical issues



  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the field of ASIC digital design and verification
  • Must have experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog and common programming and scripting languages (Make, TCL, Perl, Python, C, C++, etc)
  • Must be familiar with ASIC design tools and flows - simulation, synthesis, ECOs, etc
  • Prior experience with simulation, emulation and FPGA prototyping
  • Prior experience with silicon bring-up and debug
  • Must have strong technical and analytical background and problem solving skills
  • Must have a good understanding of computer organization and architecture and digital electronics in general
  • Security/cryptography experience is an asset
  • Must be proactive and a self-starter
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
