Cloud GPU - SMTS Software Development Eng.

The Role:

Be part of the team that works directly with Google, Amazon and Microsoft on projects such as Google Stadia, AWS AppStream, and Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines. Be part of a talented team that develops software for AMD’s GPU Virtualization solution and delivers a premium GPU experience in the cloud. Internal candidates see what we do.

The Person:

A successful candidate is passionate about delivering excellent products. The candidate will design and develop the latest Virtualization kernel software with industry specialists. We are looking for candidates who are excited to work in a fast-growing data centre business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internationally world-class cloud providers to enable GPU virtualisation
  • Develop AMD’s GPU virtualisation solution spanning Windows to Linux graphics software to a variety of Hypervisors (including KVM, Hyper-V, VMware… etc.)
  • Work with multi-functional teams to further increase the solution lead between AMD and the competition

Preferred Experience:

  • years of engineering experience in relevant industries
  • Strong programming skill in C language
  • Experience with sophisticated software systems and architectures a plus
  • Experience in developing and debugging kernel mode device driver software under Linux and/or Windows

Academic Credentials:

undergraduate degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering)
