Digital Design Verification

 

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced digital design verification professional to take on the senior role of design verification engineer for high-speed serial IPs.  The candidate would participate in a team of design verification, architects, and design engineers, working closely with other team members to understand and verify the functionality of the design at IP and sub-system level. The candidate would be responsible for UVM based TB development and carefully executing test plans consisting of directed and random tests to be run under simulation. Experience with assertions and formal verification methods are desirable but not necessary. The candidate would be expected to adopt evolving verification methodologies used in the industry as well as develop custom techniques to functionally verify increasingly complex IP designs within aggressive, market-driven schedules.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the overall verification from initial test planning, test/testbench development to coverage convergence and sign-off of several high-speed/low-power IPs.
  • Develop testbench components as well as developing test and sequence libraries, by applying Objected Oriented Programming Verification techniques following UVM methodology.
  • Compose coverage plan to ensure functional completeness

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of overall experience in the ASIC
  • Strong background in ASIC Design Flow
  • Expertise in constrained random verification methodologies.  Formal verification experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Verilog, C++, System Verilog.
  • Experience with scripting languages, Ruby/Python/Tcl/BASH/etc.
  • Extensive experience verifying complex designs using UVM, OVM or VMM
  • Familiarity with industry standard high-speed protocols such as PCIe, SATA, USB.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS (or higher) degree in Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering desired
