We are currently looking for ASIC Design Engineers who will be involved in all aspects of NBIO's next generation IP.  This includes creating circuits for CPU interfaces which require extensive knowledge of clock domain crossing.  Apply low power design to existing logic and maintain overall system performance.  Also focus on timing, LINT and CDC closure to ensure high quality RTL.  Designer will be involved in verification and debug of the ASIC throughout various stages of the project.  Strong Verilog/HDL language is required.  Good understanding of C/C++, System Verilog, UVM would be beneficial for test bench/simulation debug.  During bring up, lab work with logic analyzer and oscilloscope might be required.

RELATED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

  • BS degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience or BS + MS degree with 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of Verilog language
  • Expertise in ASIC architecture and the digital front end design/flow concepts (synthesis, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of clock domain crossing
  • Experience in power-aware synthesis, VC-LINT, CDC tools
  • Capable of independently driving tasks and activities to completion in an organized and timely manner with excellent quality

 

RELATED KNOWLEDGE:

·        PC System Architecture: PCI Express, HyperTransport, x86, ARM

·        On-Chip Bus Interfaces and Architectures: AMBA AXI, OCP, PIPE

 

EDUCATION:

·        Master degree with at least 1-3 years or Bachelor degree with 3-5 years working experience in ASIC area
