If you like to work on next generation exciting Graphics SOCs which will drive the future of Machine Learning and Gaming industry this is the team to join! As SOC Design Engineer you will be working on the top-level architecture design and interfaces for the AMD’s next high-end GPUs. We have a dynamic, high-energy work environment, filled with expert employees and unique opportunities for developing your career. From Digital logic design concepts and Verilog RTL design to final RTL Design quality checks, you can gain valuable experience when you join the SOC RTL Design team.


  • Strong organization and multitasking, as well as problem-solving and analytical skills are a must
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently drive tasks to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • SOC level interface design in Verilog
  • Design for power (DFP)
  • Static timing analysis
  • Formal verification of synthesized netlists
  • Clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis


  • Excellent understanding of Digital Logic Design concepts
  • Five or more years of ASIC design experience (outside university)
  • Experience with RTL coding in Verilog
  • Experience with standard ASIC design tools (i.e. Synopsys Tools such as Primetime, VC-LP, Verdi)
  • Thorough understanding of ASIC design flow
  • Strong knowledge of scripting, Linux/Unix environment
  • Basic knowledge of physical design (PD) process


  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
