AMD is seeking a talented QA engineer to join our Advanced Technologies Group – a startups branch focus on solving real-world technology challenges and create new markets for AMD.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with PM's and engineering teams to review and vet requirements
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design, review, develop, execute, and expand test cases & coverage
  • Develop and execute automated test cases
  • Contribute to the design, implementation of a test infrastructure which may require the development or integration of disparate tools.
  • Work with the development team to support and debug issue
  • Actively assist in the evolution of formal QA processes, to ensure that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
  • Contribute to the team efforts of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
  • Understand AMD & 3rd party IPs to ensure quality of services & user experiences

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Industry recognized certifications:  CSTB, Scrum Master, ISO, A-SPICE, … an asset
  • Proficiency in Testing: Agile, Mobile, Usability, Performance, KPI, Benchmarks, Security
  • 5+ Years of embedded software development and quality assurance experiences in international companies and fast pace projects
  • Excellent Python, bash, and scripting fundamentals
  • Able to build tools from scratch when needed
  • In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems, Jenkins, GIT, Perforce
  • Proficient at Linux system administration, container technologies like Docker etc.
  • Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
