MTS Software Engineer, 3D Graphics Tools - 90441

 

 

The Role:

The Software Tools Team develops test applications to ensure AMD’s video driver quality for state-of-art video games and 3D applications. We are excited to taking on the responsibility to develop a new feature for validating state of art video games. Hence, we are looking for a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) level software engineer with strong C++ programming experience, and proven knowledge of 3D graphics (specially with Microsoft DirectX 12).

The Person:

As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s IP, you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and support a software tool for DirectX12 and Vulkan video games
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial with responsibilities for timely delivery
  • Participate in an Agile software development process
  • Adhere to team’s coding standards and participating in code reviews
  • Write detailed design documents and user guides
  • Perform unit testing and release testing
  • Provide periodic status updates and occasional presentations

Preferred Experience:

  • Experienced in programming with Direct3D 12 shaders
  • Strong C++ programming experience with large code base
  • Skilled in system level coding and debugging with Visual Studio and gdb
  • Experienced with multiple Operating Systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Experienced with Github
  • Ability to prioritize and lead priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Works effectively both independently and in a team environment

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
