The Role:

This is an operational role in direct support of NPI engineering development. In this role you will work on a variety of tasks and different related assignments as required.

 

The Person:

  • Successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced NPI environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Willingness to learn with strong attention to details.
  • Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Processes oriented thinking.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports manufacturing specifications and build-of-material throughout the product life cycle.
  • Implement BOM release/changes according to change management process.
  • Works with multiple functioning teams such as product engineering and supply chain to ensure Product Data Requirement is met.
  • Responsible for the samples planning, tracking, scheduling, and delivery of early prototype samples of our products to internal/external customers.
  • Liaise with AMD labs and manufacturing sites to ensure execution carries out as per plan.
  • Work with multiple functional teams to analyze and resolve backlogs and potential schedule interruptions.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and work towards efficiency and productivity improvement results.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working on manufacturing and product requirements from product data management perspective.
  • Experience with material planning, logistics, scheduling, manufacturing build of material and documentation control.
  • Experience in Product Data Management using AGILE tool or similar tool.
  • Basic understanding with prototyping of electronic component.
  • Familiarity with semiconductors and/or supply chain is a plus.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus shown experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
