Customer Platform Program Manager

 

 

THE ROLE:

You will be part of a team responsible for interfacing with both internal teams and customer to plan, align and execute mutual programs. Ideal candidate should have semiconductor experience along with experience supporting a large enterprise customer. The role will report directly to Senior Manager of Program Management for our GPU Radeon Technologies Group business unit and will support a key AMD customer. 

 

 

THE PERSON:

  • Self-starter and not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Strong critical thinker and possess strong analytical skills
  • Proven skills in driving organizational change and/or process improvement
  • Excellent program management and communication skills

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key program management interface to key customer
  • Manage escalations and customer asks in a proactive manner ensuring needed support is provided; internal escalations as needed to drive closure to customer questions and issues
  • Partner with technical leads to drive debugging of technical issues
  • Drive consistency in communication and program management techniques
  • Build and grow relationships with customer and key internal stakeholders including silicon design, software development, program management, product engineering, system engineering, business units and application engineering teams
  • Drive accountability and process improvements across key teams working with customer
  • Provides regular status updates to executive management & ensures alignment from key leaders and stakeholders.

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated success in managing large/critical customer and/or programs
  • Demonstrated success in working across geographies and cross functional teams
  • Experience in crisis management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Semiconductor experience

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
