<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Role:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Graphics Memory Hub (GMHUB) team is looking for an individual to participate in the deployment of key GMHUB IP components delivered to AMD’s award winning APUs and dGPUs.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Key Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Involved in the deployment of GMHUB IP blocks into parent SOC environments
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Work in a team of design verification and design engineers; participate in all steps of the project execution from conception to design freeze, under aggressive schedules
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Play a key role in meeting committed design milestone dates by driving efficient integration of GMHUB IP blocks into parent SOC environments
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Drive closure of integration compile and simulation failures using waveform viewer and output files by collaborating with design and infrastructure owners
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Provide triage level design debug support of GMHUB IP blocks to parent SOCs, and other IP teams
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Execute on design checking and tool alignment requirements to ensure high quality IP delivery
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Track and plan deployment of design fixes to applicable parent SOC environments
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Contribute to continuous improvement in IP verification infrastructure and deployment procedures

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Preferred Experience<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">New university graduates considered. Ideally 2+ years of experience - requires proven technical knowledge in: understanding design hierarchy and connectivity, design simulation and debug using waveforms, scripting, and managing codelines using version control tools
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience with UNIX OS, Object-Oriented Programming, and Verilog are a requirement
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience with Perforce, System Verilog, and Perl is highly recommended - Requires strong programming and debug skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Requires strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a cross-site team environment

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Academic Credentials:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
