The Distributed X-Bar IO  DXIO team is looking for an individual to participate as a designer in key DXIO IPs which are delivered to AMD’s award winning APUs and dGPUs.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digital design and RTL coding for various functional blocks related to DXIO IPs
  • Involved in the deployment of DXIO IP into different SOCs
  • Ability to contribute to specification, design, verification and implementation of DXIO IPs
  • Occasional creation of utility software or scripts (C++, perl, python, tcl, etc..)
     

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • New university graduates considered.
  • Familiar with Verilog HDL coding and ASIC Frond-End implementation flow
  • Required to demonstrat good technical knowledge in ASIC design fundamentals
  • Experience scripting languages is highly recommended - Requires strong Programming and debug skills.
  • Requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a cross-site team environment.

 
The DXIO IPs are delivered into all AMD SOCs that are shipped by AMD.
Working as designer in DXIO requires working with IP/SoC verification team as well as deployment teams accross different geographies to ensure quality design and smooth deployment of IP to different SoC.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum BSEE/CE, or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of hands-on design verification experience in ASIC product development
