The Role: ASIC Design Engineer who will be involved in high-speed IO design and architecture

 

Key Responsibilities:  

AMD is looking for an Engineer who will be involved in the design and microarchitecture of AMDs PCI Express (PCIe) and CXL used for all next-generation servers, clients, GPU, and Semi-custom products. The person will work closely with IP and system architects to micro-architect cutting edge features.

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Expertise and success in ASIC design flow, ASIC architecture, and overall IP technical leadership
  • Knowledge of PCI-Express and/or CXL
  • Familiarity with industry-standard high-speed protocols and Controller IP
  • System-level architecture focused on high performance I/O subsystems
  • IP and SoC design

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor/Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Engineering Science or Computer Science

 

Location: Markham, ON, Vancouver, BC or Austin, TX
