This is an exciting opportunity within the field of ASIC Design, involving all aspects of IP RTL design.  This team also does post silicon bring up. This is a unique opportunity to get involved in design that involves software and hardware optimization for virtualizations in computer systems ! 


  1. IP RTL design for AMDs I/O virtualization IPs -I/O Memory Management Unit (IOMMU) and I/O Hub Core (IOHC) used for all next generation server, clients, GPU and Semi-custom products.
  2. Work closely with IP and system architects to micro-architect cutting edge features.
  3. Apply low power design techniques to existing logic and maintain overall system performance. 
  4. Focus on timing, LINT and CDC closure to ensure high quality RTL. 
  5. Support verification and debug of the ASIC through out various stages of the project. 
  6. Jump into the lab and solve post silicon bring-up or customer issues.



Experience in ASIC Design.


Must Have Skills:

  1. Strong Verilog language and problem-solving skill is required. 
  2. Good understanding PCI Express and Computer Architecture is preferred. 


Good to Have:

  1. Other technical knowledge such as C/C++, System Verilog, and UVM would be beneficial for testbench/simulation debug. 
  2. During bring up, some lab work with logic analyzer and oscilloscope might be required.
  3. Understanding of virtualization.
  4. Understanding PTPX, power artist, Linting / CDC tools, equivalence checks
  5. Experience in doing ECOs


Education Requirements

Bachelor/Master in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Engineering Science or Computer Science.
