Cloud Sales Development Manager - EMEA


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive the consumption and sell through of AMD Epyc based VMs in the portfolio of a large Public Cloud account (MDC). This “Sales Out” sales position will work with the AMD team to help manage the relationships with the MDC Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Solution Architect, and Partner Network.

  • Experience working with Public Cloud providers, sales teams, system integrators, and/or marketing teams to build and deploy training, sales tools, incentive programs and joint GTM strategies
  • An understanding of the data-center solutions and knowledge of sales cycle and motion for commercial customers choosing cloud solutions
  • A solid understanding and current experience with co-selling with large accounts to end customers as well as the partner network (ie. distribution, GSI, enterprise)
  • Proven skill of using data in your decision-making process for investments and communicating progress and updates on the state of the business
  • Strong organization, presentation, communication, and account management skills with the ability to present to large audiences


Key Responsibilities:

Guiding and working with the AMD and MDC sales team to develop and execute a GTM and Sales Strategy to drive consumption and end-customer demand.

Help identify and expand relationships with key partners at the MDC.

Support on sales pipeline reporting for the MDC, sales program management, and field communication.

Ultimate goal is demonstrating an increased footprint in AMD share in the commercial market and driving value to this MDC.


Preferred Experience:

  • Proven global sales and marketing experience in the tech industry, building sales strategies, GTM planning, executing programs, and managing a large account
  • Experience with Public Cloud companies is key
  • Ability to demonstrate technical understanding of the cloud offerings is a plus


Academic Credentials:

University or four-year college degree in Business or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
